About the Role
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer/Trainer to support and enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who can work independently on ongoing projects and contribute to custom application development, workflow automation, and system integrations within ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assignment in a live Zoom working session to understand current requirements.
- Develop, customize, and maintain applications on ServiceNow dev instances.
- Enhance existing workflows and create new ones to optimize ITSM processes.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems and internal tools.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members as needed.
- Work independently with remote access to existing environments, contributing to ongoing projects.
- Ensure best practices in ServiceNow development and adhere to platform standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on ITSM project experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow application development, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing ServiceNow solutions.
- Comfortable working independently with remote access to development instances.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and live working sessions.
Preferred
- Experience training or mentoring team members on ServiceNow best practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
- Experience in long-term project support and multiple simultaneous initiatives.
