About the Role

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer/Trainer to support and enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who can work independently on ongoing projects and contribute to custom application development, workflow automation, and system integrations within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assignment in a live Zoom working session to understand current requirements.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain applications on ServiceNow dev instances.
  • Enhance existing workflows and create new ones to optimize ITSM processes.
  • Develop integrations with third-party systems and internal tools.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members as needed.
  • Work independently with remote access to existing environments, contributing to ongoing projects.
  • Ensure best practices in ServiceNow development and adhere to platform standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on ITSM project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow application development, workflows, and integrations.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently with remote access to development instances.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration and live working sessions.

Preferred

  • Experience training or mentoring team members on ServiceNow best practices.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
  • Experience in long-term project support and multiple simultaneous initiatives.
