SEO + AEO Content VA (16 hrs/week, Remote, Must Be Detail-Oriented)
We are a growing ecommerce + content business operating in the post-op and shapewear niche. We manage two interconnected sites:
1. An ecommerce brand (DTC shapewear)
2. An authority blog (educational hub for post-op care)
We drive organic traffic via SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization), publishing schema-optimized blogs weekly that feed traffic into our products and show up in search engines, AI overviews, and affiliate platforms.
We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, proactive VA with strong SEO and blog operations experience to manage this system consistently and independently.
This role is for someone who doesn’t just follow directions — you spot opportunities, improve rankings, and move the needle on traffic and sales.
🕒 Commitment
• 16 hours per week
• Must be available for 2 hours M–F between 12 PM–4 PM EST
• Weekly blog + report submission by Friday 6 PM EST
✅ You Will Handle
• Writing and publishing 2 SEO-AEO optimized blogs weekly
• Internally linking blogs to relevant product pages on our ecommerce site
• Adding Amazon affiliate links for non-store products
• Tracking keyword performance and AI mentions (via SEMrush + manual prompts)
• Monitoring and flagging Google and Meta product feed issues
• Running weekly on-page SEO checks and flagging issues (not editing)
• Performing basic QA on our FAQ and Surgery Tips pages
• Guest blog outreach and drafting (1–2 per month)
• Submitting a clean, structured report every Friday
❌ You Will NOT Handle
• Product editing or layout changes
• Paid ads, Klaviyo, or CRO-related tasks
• Social media or influencer content
💼 Requirements
• At least 1 year in an SEO-focused VA or content operations role
• Experience with ecommerce, affiliate content, or health/wellness blogs
• You must already have access to the tools required to do this role effectively (SEMrush or similar, Google Merchant Center, etc.) — we do not provide paid tool access
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Able to independently identify and act on SEO opportunities
💡 Your Approach
• You don’t need hand-holding. You bring ideas.
• You document everything, double-check your work, and aim to improve visibility and sales through content.
• You treat SEO as a performance channel, not just a checklist.
🚫 Do NOT apply if:
• You publish sloppy content or skim blog requirements
• You don’t double-check your work
• You need someone to tell you what to do every day
• You expect tool access to be provided — this is your responsibility
📩 To Apply (READ CAREFULLY)
Your application must begin with the word FAJAS — any applications missing this will be ignored.
You must also submit a Loom video (2 minutes or less) answering this real scenario:
“You’re reviewing our last 30 days of blog performance. Traffic is flat, keyword movement has stalled, and AI mentions haven’t increased. Based on your scope — blog publishing, keyword tracking, internal linking, and affiliate content — what specific actions would you take next to help boost visibility and drive more sales?”
This is a real situation you’ll face — your response will show us how you think.
