About the Role

Outdoor Norway is seeking a Senior Web Developer & System Integrator to own and evolve digital platforms. This role is fully remote and ideal for a solutions-driven professional who thrives on autonomy, delivers high-quality work, and communicates confidently across internal and external teams.

You will manage the HubSpot CMS (HubCMS) environment, integrate with WooCommerce, WordPress, and various APIs, and collaborate with marketing, sales, HR, and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. HubSpot CMS & CRM

  • Build, maintain, and optimize websites using HubCMS, including templates, modules, and themes
  • Configure HubSpot pipelines, forms, and workflows for CRM, CMS, and marketing
  • Integrate HubSpot with WooCommerce, WordPress, third-party tools, and internal systems

2. Custom Development & Automation

  • Develop reusable modules, scripts, and extensions for WooCommerce and HubSpot
  • Automate sales and marketing workflows using HubSpot APIs and smart logic
  • Ensure clean data flow and synchronization across systems
  • Configure website integrations with tools like FareHarbor & Blend

3. Website Management & Technical Support

  • Maintain WordPress performance, plugin health, and WooCommerce functionality
  • Handle SSL, server-side issues, uptime, security, and troubleshooting
  • Implement new digital solutions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Manage data migrations and synchronization between various systems

4. SEO & Analytics

  • Conduct SEO audits and implement metadata, schema, and speed optimizations
  • Build dashboards in HubSpot and GA4 to provide actionable insights

5. Documentation & Training

  • Document integrations, workflows, and systems for scalable use
  • Create internal training materials to support tool adoption
  • Implement centralized access management and guide team usage

6. External Collaboration

  • Work with vendors, partners, and service providers for seamless integration
  • Represent Outdoor Norway professionally in meetings and follow-ups

  • HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • WordPress & WooCommerce
  • HubSpot APIs (CRM, CMS, Marketing)
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • GitHub & HubSpot CLI for local development
  • JSON for theme/module configuration
  • Optional: Serverless Functions (Node.js)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years full-stack development experience, with expertise in HubSpot CMS (HubL)
  • Strong command of web fundamentals and custom API integrations
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of independently managing technical projects
  • Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Clear and confident communication in virtual meetings
  • Goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • Team player thriving in remote, collaborative environments
  • Experience in tourism industry preferred
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus)
