🌟 About the Role

Outdoor Norway is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer & System Integrator to own and evolve our digital platforms. This role is ideal for a solutions-driven professional who thrives on autonomy, delivers high-quality work, and communicates with confidence.

You will manage our HubSpot CMS (HubCMS) environment and ensure seamless integrations with WooCommerce, WordPress, and various third-party APIs, collaborating with teams across marketing, sales, HR, and operations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. HubSpot CMS & CRM

  • Build, maintain, and optimize the website using HubCMS (templates, modules, themes)
  • Configure HubSpot pipelines, forms, and workflows to support CRM, CMS, and marketing functions
  • Integrate HubSpot with WooCommerce, WordPress, third-party tools, and internal systems

2. Custom Development & Automation

  • Develop reusable modules, scripts, and extensions for WooCommerce and HubSpot
  • Automate sales and marketing workflows using HubSpot APIs
  • Ensure clean data flow, synchronization, and internal self-service tools
  • Configure website integrations with FareHarbor & Blend

3. Website Management & Technical Support

  • Maintain WordPress performance, hosting, plugins, and WooCommerce functionality
  • Manage SSL, server-side issues, uptime, and security
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Oversee data migrations and synchronization across systems

4. SEO & Analytics

  • Conduct SEO audits, optimize metadata, schema, and speed
  • Build dashboards in HubSpot and GA4 to provide actionable insights

5. Documentation & Training

  • Document integrations, processes, and systems clearly
  • Create internal training resources for smooth adoption of tools
  • Implement centralized access management and guide teams accordingly

6. External Collaboration

  • Liaise with third-party vendors and partners for smooth system integrations
  • Represent Outdoor Norway professionally in meetings and follow-ups

  • HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery

  • GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
  • GitHub & HubSpot CLI
  • JSON for theme/module configuration
  • Optional: Serverless Functions (Node.js)

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Expertise in HubSpot CMS (HubL) and custom API integrations
  • Highly reliable, proactive, and able to manage technical projects independently
  • Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Clear and professional communicator
  • Goal-oriented with accountability for outcomes
  • Team player thriving in a remote, collaborative environment
  • Tourism industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a bonus)
