💼 About the Role

Outdoor Norway is seeking a highly experienced Senior Web Developer & System Integrator to lead and evolve its digital ecosystem.

You will take ownership of the HubSpot CMS environment, ensuring seamless integrations with WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, analytics tools, and internal systems. This role requires strong autonomy, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, HR, and operations teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ HubSpot CMS & CRM

• Build, optimize, and maintain websites using HubSpot CMS (HubL templates, modules, themes)
• Configure pipelines, workflows, forms & automation in HubSpot
• Integrate HubSpot with:
  • WooCommerce
  • WordPress
  • Third-party tools & internal systems

2️⃣ Custom Development & Automation

• Develop reusable modules and extensions for WooCommerce & HubSpot
• Automate sales/marketing workflows using HubSpot APIs
• Ensure secure and clean data synchronization
• Integrate website systems with:
  • FareHarbor
  • BLEND
• Implement smart logic and self-service internal tools

3️⃣ Website Management & Technical Support

• Maintain hosting, plugin health & WooCommerce functionality
• Handle SSL, uptime, security & server-side troubleshooting
• Resolve performance bottlenecks
• Manage complex data migrations & synchronization
• Collaborate with internal teams on digital initiatives

4️⃣ SEO & Analytics

• Conduct technical SEO audits
• Implement schema, metadata & speed optimizations
• Build dashboards in:
  • Google Analytics 4
  • HubSpot reporting
• Analyze traffic, engagement & conversion performance

5️⃣ Documentation & Training

• Document all integrations & processes
• Develop internal training resources
• Implement centralized access management
• Guide teams in tool adoption and best practices

6️⃣ External Collaboration

• Coordinate with vendors & service providers
• Represent Outdoor Norway in partner meetings
• Ensure smooth ongoing system integrations

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years full-stack development experience
• Advanced expertise in HubSpot CMS (HubL templating)
• Strong API integration experience
• Independent project ownership & accountability
• Excellent documentation & project management skills
• Professional communication skills
• Remote team collaboration experience
• Tourism industry experience (preferred)
• Fluent English (Norwegian is a plus)
