About the Role

Outdoor Norway is seeking a Senior Web Developer & System Integrator to own and evolve our digital platforms. You will manage HubSpot CMS (HubCMS), ensure seamless integrations with WooCommerce, WordPress, and various APIs, and collaborate with marketing, sales, HR, and operations to deliver robust, scalable systems.

This role is ideal for a solutions-driven professional who thrives on autonomy, delivers high-quality work, and communicates confidently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. HubSpot CMS & CRM

  • Build, maintain, and optimize the website using HubCMS, including templates, modules, and themes
  • Configure HubSpot pipelines, forms, and workflows for CRM, CMS, and marketing functions
  • Integrate HubSpot with WooCommerce, WordPress, third-party tools, and internal systems

2. Custom Development & Automation

  • Develop reusable modules, scripts, and extensions for WooCommerce and HubSpot
  • Automate sales and marketing workflows using HubSpot APIs
  • Ensure clean data flow, synchronization, and self-service tools for internal teams
  • Configure integration with FareHarbor & Blend

3. Website Management & Technical Support

  • Maintain WordPress performance, hosting, plugins, and WooCommerce functionality
  • Handle SSL, server issues, uptime, security, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement digital solutions
  • Manage data migrations and synchronization between systems

4. SEO & Analytics

  • Conduct SEO audits and implement metadata, schema, and speed optimizations
  • Build dashboards in HubSpot and GA4 for traffic, conversion, and engagement insights

5. Documentation & Training

  • Document integrations, processes, and systems in scalable formats
  • Create internal training resources for team adoption of technical tools
  • Implement centralized access management and guide the team

6. External Collaboration

  • Liaise with third-party vendors and partners for smooth integrations
  • Represent Outdoor Norway professionally in partner meetings and follow-ups

  • HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • WordPress & WooCommerce
  • HubSpot APIs (CRM, CMS, Marketing)
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • GitHub & HubSpot CLI for local development
  • JSON for theme/module configuration
  • Optional: Serverless Functions (Node.js)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with expertise in HubSpot CMS (HubL)
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals and custom API integrations
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of independently managing technical projects
  • Excellent project management, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Clear, confident communication in virtual meetings
  • Goal-oriented with strong accountability
  • Team player thriving in a remote, collaborative environment
  • Tourism industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English; Norwegian is a bonus
