Overview

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer / Full Stack Engineer to join our front-office team at a leading hedge fund. You will be a key contributor to real-time trading systems, building highly interactive front-end architectures, data visualizations, and enterprise-grade applications that support critical capital markets operations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and cutting-edge technology, leveraging your expertise in C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets, gRPC, and SignalR.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop front-office trading systems and real-time data-driven applications.
  • Build scalable full-stack web applications using C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Implement front-end architecture, UI/UX solutions, and data visualization components.
  • Integrate real-time messaging protocols including WebSockets, gRPC, and SignalR.
  • Collaborate closely with business users to translate requirements into high-performance systems.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and maintain high code quality standards.
  • Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, interacting with cross-functional technology and trading teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in C# and .NET development for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Docker, and cloud services (preferably AWS).
  • Hands-on experience with real-time trading systems and capital markets workflows (clearing/settlement).
  • Familiarity with WebSockets, gRPC, SignalR, and Web API integrations.
  • Solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business users and technical teams.
  • Right to work in the US without sponsorship.
