Role Overview

  • Position: Senior Web Developer
  • Type: Full-Time, Remote
  • Experience: 5+ years in web development, 2+ years in team management
  • Location: Remote (Global team)

You will lead the web development team, manage junior developers, and oversee strategy, execution, and technical excellence across all web properties.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Define web development roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies
  • Identify automation opportunities (Zapier, Make, API scripts)
  • Develop and maintain web standards and best practices

Execution & Development

  • Build and maintain Webflow sites with pixel-perfect precision
  • Execute complex website migrations (platform, domain, content restructuring)
  • Deploy automations to streamline workflows
  • Ensure site performance, SEO optimization, and accessibility
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a globally-dispersed team of junior developers
  • Delegate tasks, provide code reviews, and conduct 1:1 meetings
  • Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture
  • Remove blockers and provide technical guidance

Project Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff to launch
  • Create project plans with timelines and milestones
  • Coordinate with design, marketing, and product teams
  • Track progress, identify risks, and adjust priorities
  • Communicate status updates to leadership

Quality Assurance

  • Optimize and enforce QA processes
  • Review all work before deployment
  • Monitor site performance and user experience metrics

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Figma and Webflow
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design
  • Expertise in UX/UI principles and SEO fundamentals
  • Experience in building automations (Zapier, Make, custom scripts, API integrations)
  • Prior leadership/management experience (2+ years)
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
