Job Description

We are seeking a Senior SS&C Tradex & SS&C APX Developer to support our investment operations platforms, including trading, accounting, portfolio management, reconciliation, and reporting. The role focuses on customization, maintenance, and performance optimization of these critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and maintain workflows, modules, and features in SS&C Tradex and SS&C APX
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic
  • Build Java-based modules and integration utilities
  • Create and consume REST & SOAP APIs/Web Services for integrations with CRM, data warehouse, and trading systems
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis within investment operations workflows

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of software development experience with a strong background in the SS&C ecosystem
  • Hands-on expertise in SS&C Tradex and SS&C APX (customization, configuration, architecture)
  • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling)
  • Solid Java/OOP fundamentals
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
  • Understanding of investment operations: trade lifecycle, settlements, NAV, corporate actions, reconciliation

  • ETL/integration tooling experience
  • Reporting tools: SSRS, Crystal Reports, APX Reporting
  • Multi-asset product exposure
  • Cloud modernization/migration experience
