About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Spartacus UI Developer to join our remote team and lead the development of composable storefronts using SAP Spartacus. This role focuses on building responsive, high-performance, and modular front-end solutions integrated with SAP Commerce Cloud.

Ideal candidates are passionate about Angular development, have hands-on experience in Spartacus projects, and enjoy working in an Agile environment with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and unit-test composable frontend solutions using Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud.
  • Implement dynamic content rendering via CMS integration, managing banners, product lists, and category pages.
  • Customize Spartacus templates and components according to project requirements.
  • Build responsive and mobile-first UI optimized for performance.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and third-party services.
  • Maintain code quality with Git/Bitbucket version control and follow best practices.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product teams in Scrum/Kanban workflows.
  • Troubleshoot frontend issues, optimize loading performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge of Spartacus and Angular best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • SAP Spartacus: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in real-world projects.
  • Angular & Frontend: 5–7 years with Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
  • Frontend frameworks: Strong knowledge of responsive UI and performance optimization.
  • PWA & Mobile-first development experience.
  • Headless/Composable Commerce: Familiarity with architectures and implementation patterns.
  • CMS integration: Ability to render dynamic content via SAP Commerce Cloud CMS.
  • API integration: Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party system integration.
  • Version control: Proficient in Git/Bitbucket.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to multiple Spartacus projects with end-to-end implementation.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with performance tuning of complex storefronts.
  • Understanding of e-commerce business processes and workflows.
