Location: Wilmington, DE | Salary: $147,100 – $167,900 per year

About the Role

Capital One is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer passionate about building scalable, cloud-based solutions that solve complex business problems. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment, leveraging modern technologies to deliver innovative experiences to millions of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions using modern tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, digital product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build robust applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go.
  • Work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Implement containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and integrate with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Mentor and share knowledge with team members and participate in internal/external tech communities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships not included).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
  • 1+ years of cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • 3+ years working with open-source frameworks.
  • 2+ years of Agile/Scrum experience.
