Design and develop BGP routing protocols for Cisco’s networking solutions.
Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the successful implementation of BGP routing solutions.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in networking technology.
Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code for BGP routing protocols.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in BGP routing and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Continuously optimize and improve existing BGP routing solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
Document design decisions, specifications, and technical processes for future reference.
Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow in their roles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BGP routing solutions into Cisco’s products.
Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support when needed.
Participate in agile development processes and meetings to drive project progress.
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools related to BGP routing and make recommendations for their use in the team.
Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines set by Cisco Systems.
