Base Salary Range:

  • Denver, CO: $142,800 – $193,200
  • Arlington, VA: $142,800 – $193,200
  • Herndon, VA: $142,800 – $193,200
  • Seattle, WA: $142,800 – $193,200

Total compensation includes base salary, sales incentives, sign-on payments, and restricted stock units (RSUs).

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to drive services sales and customer engagement for AWS Professional Services.

As the primary customer-facing relationship owner for ProServe, you will engage new and existing customers on transformative initiatives across IT strategy, distributed systems, modernization, and hybrid cloud operations. You will work closely with Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to define customer business outcomes (CBOs), develop proposals, secure Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure successful delivery.

Your ability to translate technical solutions into business value will be critical in driving revenue growth, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Leadership

  • Drive high-value Professional Services engagements across strategic accounts
  • Identify opportunities aligned to customer business outcomes
  • Partner with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) teams to coordinate account strategies
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM management

Proposal & Deal Execution

  • Develop and present compelling proposals aligned to customer needs
  • Lead negotiations and secure customer sign-off on Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Structure services engagements that maximize customer value and AWS growth

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain executive-level (C-suite) relationships
  • Serve as trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Monitor project delivery to ensure agreed CBOs are achieved
  • Advocate for customers while balancing AWS business objectives

Performance & Metrics

  • Meet and exceed revenue and billable bookings targets
  • Drive customer satisfaction (CSAT) and long-term account growth
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology sales or account management experience
  • Experience meeting sales targets and driving business development
  • Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategy discussions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience negotiating complex services agreements
  • Experience building and managing C-level client relationships
  • Strong storytelling, listening, and executive communication skills
  • Technical proficiency to articulate AWS services and value propositions
  • Experience supporting U.S. Army or federal technology contracts
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities
