About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a dynamic Senior ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to engage new and existing customers in transformative cloud initiatives. In this customer-facing role, you will define business outcomes, build trust, and identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings. You will collaborate closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive successful project delivery and measurable business results.
This role emphasizes business development, strategic account management, and customer success. You will be responsible for securing Statements of Work (SOWs), monitoring project progress, and ensuring agreed Customer Business Outcomes (CBOs) are achieved. Your success will be measured by revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts and drive high-value AWS Professional Services engagements.
- Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) teams to coordinate account strategies.
- Create proposals, secure SOW approvals, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure delivery of customer business outcomes and maximize revenue.
- Advocate for customers while aligning with AWS business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technology sales or account management experience.
- Proven experience meeting sales targets and driving business development.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and IT strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing complex negotiations and C-level client relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency to understand and articulate AWS services and solutions.
- Experience with US Army or other government technology solutions sales.
