Develop and implement innovative data-driven solutions to support Novartis’ clinical research objectives.
Lead and manage the clinical data science team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key data needs and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct complex data analyses and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and trends in large datasets.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in clinical data science, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
Drive the adoption of data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different departments and functions.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on data science best practices to support clinical research projects.
Assist in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and tools to support data science initiatives.
Contribute to the development of standards and processes for data management, analysis, and reporting.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical stakeholders.
Lead the development and implementation of data quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical data.
Mentor and coach junior data scientists to support their professional growth and development.
