🚀 About the Role

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will design, architect, and build applications that delight our clients.

You will work closely with Product Managers to understand roadmaps, estimate priorities, and plan future deliveries. You’ll lead development efforts using Agile methodologies and guide your team to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical depth, collaborative problem-solving, and effective communication.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop applications using PHP
  • Integrate user-facing elements built by frontend developers
  • Build efficient, reusable, and testable PHP modules
  • Solve complex performance and architectural challenges
  • Integrate data storage solutions and multiple databases
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
  • Identify bottlenecks, debug issues, and optimize performance
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including daily Scrum and task management
  • Guide and mentor developers within the project team
  • Deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code

💻 Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as:
    • Laravel
    • CakePHP
  • Deep understanding of MVC architecture
  • Strong object-oriented PHP programming skills
  • Experience building scalable application architectures
  • Knowledge of synchronous PHP behavior
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources into a unified system
  • Familiarity with database technologies:
    • MySQL
    • MongoDB
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization systems
  • Strong knowledge of web security best practices and exploit prevention
  • Proficient with version control systems (Git)

🌐 Front-End & Additional Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of:
    • JavaScript
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • jQuery
  • Familiarity with CMS and eCommerce platforms (preferred but not mandatory):
    • WordPress
    • WooCommerce
    • Drupal
    • Magento
