Role Overview

The Senior .NET Full-Stack Engineer will take ownership of complex enterprise applications, balancing hands-on development with technical leadership. You will mentor engineers, define architecture standards, and deliver high-quality solutions across web, data, and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain ASP.NET and VB.NET web solutions, using MySQL and Oracle as primary databases.
  • Design scalable and maintainable enterprise architectures; make technology stack recommendations.
  • Define and execute testing strategies, including unit, integration, and UAT, with clear documentation.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to in-house engineering teams.
  • Perform advanced database work: performance tuning, monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and query optimization.
  • Deliver cross-platform mobile development (iOS and Android) as needed.
  • Integrate AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
  • Conduct code reviews to enforce development standards.
  • Support delivery planning: estimates, resource allocation, and coordination of development work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of development experience; minimum 2 years in a senior/leadership role.
  • Expertise in ASP.NET, VB.NET, .NET Core, Web API, Angular, and modern engineering practices.
  • Practical experience with AI tools in engineering workflows.
  • Strong database experience (MySQL, Oracle) with SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and enterprise security/compliance standards.
  • Leadership experience: mentoring teams of 3+ engineers, guiding technical decisions, and managing project delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience, familiar with HIPAA regulations.
  • Automation/robotics integration experience.
  • Agile/Scrum certification and practical implementation experience.
  • DevOps practices: containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
