Role Overview

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior MEAN Stack Developer to handle all phases of full-stack web application development, from architecture and coding to deployment, maintenance, and support. The role involves front-end and back-end development, database management, system utilities, and legacy modernization.

The position requires experience in MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, Node.js) and Linux-based environments, as well as knowledge of secure coding, application lifecycle management, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, test, and package web-based applications.
  • Build and maintain front-end and back-end systems.
  • Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (RDBMS & NoSQL).
  • Develop system utilities, custom procedures, database calls, and scripts.
  • Ensure data security and robust user interfaces.
  • Perform requirements gathering, analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and training following the full application lifecycle.
  • Conduct system problem analysis and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist with legacy modernization, code refactoring, and Lotus Notes migration to MEAN stack (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

  • MEAN Stack expertise: MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, Node.js.
  • Proficiency in frontend languages/frameworks: HTML/CSS, XML, JQuery.
  • Proficiency in backend languages/frameworks: Express, Java (highly desired).
  • Database knowledge: RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Mongo).
  • Development in Linux-based environments.
  • Version control tools experience (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift and containerized applications.
  • Understanding of unit testing, coding standards, release procedures, and change management.

Highly Desired Skills

  • Containers & containerized applications.
  • Legacy modernization and code conversion.
  • Experience migrating Lotus Notes applications to MEAN stack.
  • Standard office tools: MS Suite, Visio/flowcharting.

Education & Eligibility

  • HS/GED + 12 years development experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years development experience.
  • US Citizenship or proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Government clearance eligibility required.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $50,000 – $175,000 (based on experience, responsibilities, location, and federal contract rates).
