📝 Role Overview

As a Senior Java Web Application Migration Specialist, you will lead and support the migration of enterprise web applications to modern infrastructure, particularly RHEL 8 environments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including web administrators, Unix administrators, and IT engineering teams to ensure seamless migration, stable deployments, and improved system performance.

This role requires strong experience in Java enterprise ecosystems, Linux administration, content migration, and secure web application practices.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration of legacy web applications and content to RHEL 8 environments
• Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise Java-based web applications
• Perform environment configuration and system compatibility validation
• Support large-scale content and infrastructure migration projects
• Collaborate with web admins, Unix admins, and infrastructure teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related performance or stability issues
• Ensure compliance with web security standards and government regulations
• Maintain code repositories and documentation using version control systems
• Follow agency web standards, accessibility requirements, and design guidelines
