Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with Spring Boot experience to design, develop, and maintain API-driven, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in distributed systems, microservices, and API frameworks, and can thrive in dynamic, agile environments while collaborating with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Java applications using Spring Boot for API development
  • Work on cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including API Gateways (APIGEE, Azure API Gateway, or equivalent)
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices and SOA solutions
  • Leverage SQL and NoSQL databases for backend persistence and performance optimization
  • Participate in agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Kaizen
  • Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration and follow DevOps best practices
  • Foster collaboration across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance
  • Mentor junior developers and guide technical best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software development experience in Object-Oriented Languages (Java)
  • 3+ years of recent experience with Spring Boot frameworks for API development
  • 3+ years of experience developing on modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Expertise in REST APIs, SOA, microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOD, and design patterns
  • Experience designing solutions with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and Agile programming methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with API Gateways such as APIGEE or Azure API Gateway
