About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to help design and build high-scale backend systems powering healthcare platforms.

You will work on mission-critical infrastructure handling large volumes of transactions and sensitive healthcare data. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot
  • Build secure, high-performance REST APIs
  • Develop systems capable of handling high transaction volumes
  • Integrate and manage message brokers (Kafka, SQS)
  • Work with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
  • Ensure secure handling of healthcare data
  • Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews

Technical Requirements

  • 5–6 years of backend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
  • Experience with:
    • Kafka or AWS SQS
    • PostgreSQL
    • MongoDB
    • Redis
  • Experience designing distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant systems
  • Experience with event-driven architecture
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
