📝 Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join multidisciplinary agile core platform development teams.

You will be responsible for building, maintaining, operating, and optimizing a platform composed of Java-based microservices running event-driven processes and RESTful APIs on AWS infrastructure.

The system manages and delivers Video on Demand (VOD) and Live Events to users worldwide at global scale.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Java-based backend services
  • Develop and optimize event-driven architectures
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Work with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Deliver highly available video streaming services (VOD & Live)
  • Perform automation testing (Unit & Integration testing)
  • Design QA test cases
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Deliver complex features with zero downtime
  • Collaborate within agile development teams

🛠 Technical Requirements

Core Skills

  • Strong Java 11
  • RESTful APIs (JAX-RS, Dropwizard, Spring Boot or similar)
  • Event-driven systems
  • Relational Databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL)
  • NoSQL databases
  • AWS Cloud:
    • EC2
    • RDS
    • S3
    • SQS
    • Kinesis
    • DynamoDB
  • Docker
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform)
  • Automation Testing (Unit & Integration)
  • Agile development experience
