🚀 About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Frontier AI Partner Development Manager to join the AMER Startup Partner Team within the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP).

This high-impact role focuses on building and scaling strategic partnerships with frontier Generative AI (GenAI) startups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). You will define and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies, drive revenue growth, and position AWS as the preferred cloud platform for AI innovation.

This is a strategic business development and partner leadership role requiring strong technical acumen and executive-level engagement skills.

🌐 About AWS Specialist & Partner Organization (ASP)

  • Specialists own end-to-end go-to-market strategy across key technology domains.
  • Partner teams manage strategy, recruitment, growth, and development of AWS technology partners.
  • Together, they enable customers to solve complex challenges using scalable cloud innovation.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute joint Build, Market, and Sell plans with GenAI startup partners
  • Drive C-level engagement across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams
  • Develop and manage strategic partner development plans aligned with AWS startup strategy
  • Set and manage revenue targets; exceed joint growth goals
  • Build and manage pipeline opportunities with AWS Sales teams
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with internal and partner leadership
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and collaborate with Legal teams
  • Support startup ISVs in successfully adopting and scaling on AWS
  • Work cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Marketing, PR, GTM specialists, and Support
  • Use CRM systems, analytics tools, and generative AI to track performance metrics
  • Influence AWS product direction based on partner technical requirements

🎓 Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules
