  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Salary Range: $180,000 – $220,000 base + equity + benefits
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship)

🚀 What You’ll Do

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will architect and build the core payment experiences powering thousands of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain sophisticated payment dashboards and transaction management interfaces
  • Develop reusable, performant, and accessible component libraries
  • Lead frontend technical design and architectural decisions
  • Optimize performance for high-volume financial data applications
  • Translate complex payment workflows into intuitive UX
  • Mentor engineers and define frontend best practices
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and observable customer-facing systems

🛠 Technical Requirements

Core Experience

  • 6+ years building production web applications
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with React in complex, data-heavy environments
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of frontend testing strategies and frameworks
  • Experience building responsive, accessible applications
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern build tooling

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, payments, fraud prevention, or financial systems
  • Backend familiarity (Java/Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
  • Micro-frontend architecture experience
  • Component library design at scale
  • Secure API and distributed system experience
