Overview
This Talent Community relates to future open roles in Czech Republic, Serbia, and Portugal. Frontend Engineers report to the Frontend Team Lead and work within a hybrid workplace model with an office in Belgrade. The role focuses on developing scalable, high-quality frontend solutions while collaborating closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders. Education and development are an integral part of the role, with guidance provided throughout the learning journey.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, SASS
- Experience with one of the JavaScript libraries or frameworks
- Knowledge and experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- Optimisations on a current component library (APIs, component library, etc.)
- Implementation and development around motion, accessibility (a11y), design tokens, theming, and more
- Hands-on experience with bug fixes, backlog, and support tickets
- Good sense of User Experience and Design
- Ability to establish strong communication flows between stakeholders, designers, and developers
- Overall frontend architecture evaluation and scalability experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React, Angular, or Vue.js and their core principles
- Experience with state management workflows such as Redux, NgRx, or Vuex
- Familiarity with newer EcmaScript specifications
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
- Experience with frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Ability to work in diverse teams
- Mindset for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with GIT-based version control tools
- Experience with Design Systems implementation
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features using React, Angular, Vue.js, or Vanilla JavaScript
- Build reusable components and frontend libraries
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers
- Design frontend architectures for component library integration with multiple platforms
