🌐 About the Role
TTS is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to support the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD OCIO). This fully remote role focuses on implementing component-based, responsive, and accessible web interfaces, including AI/ML-enhanced applications and federal-compliant dashboards.
The candidate will work closely with UX designers, data scientists, backend, and DevOps teams to ship secure, maintainable, and high-performance front-end applications.
This role requires the ability to pass a federal background check and NACI clearance. Candidates must reside in the United States.
🛠 Responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML-enabled features as specified by design and data science teams.
- Implement and maintain USWDS-compliant and accessible interfaces (Section 508, WCAG AA).
- Establish reusable design systems and cross-application shells.
- Collaborate in iterative development, continuous integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize front-end applications for performance, scalability, and security (OWASP, CSP).
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of front-end development experience with React.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with component-based design, responsive layouts, micro-frontends, Storybook, and shared libraries.
- Knowledge of state/data management: Redux/RTK Query, GraphQL, REST API integration.
- Familiarity with US federal security and accessibility standards: FedRAMP, ICAM/login.gov.
- Experience with testing frameworks: Jest/RTL, Cypress; and performance monitoring (Web Vitals).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines: GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Ability to pass federal background screening and obtain/maintain government clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

🎓 Education & Certifications

- Front-end development certifications (React, JavaScript, Web Development Bootcamp) preferred.
