🌟 Overview
Tanaq Technical Services (TTS) is an 8(a) Alaskan Native Small Business delivering Enterprise Integrated Technology Solutions to the Federal Government. We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to support HUD OCIO in building component-based, responsive, and AI/ML-enabled web interfaces.
This role focuses on developing accessible, USWDS-compliant interfaces, contributing to a reusable design system, and collaborating with backend, DevOps, and data teams. This position is fully remote, requiring U.S. residency and eligibility for federal background checks/NACI clearance.
🛠 Responsibilities
- Build responsive web applications using React.js, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML-enabled features as specified by design and data science teams.
- Implement USWDS/Section 508 accessibility standards in collaboration with UX designers.
- Participate in iterative development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain front-end performance and scalability.
- Document code, components, and implementations for HUD governance and AI inventory updates.
✅ Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of front-end development experience with React.js, HTML, CSS.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with component-based design, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards (USWDS, Section 508, WCAG AA).
- Proficiency in testing frameworks: Jest/RTL, Cypress; performance monitoring (Web Vitals); security best practices (OWASP, CSP).
- Experience with micro frontend patterns and shared component libraries/Storybook.
- State/data management experience: Redux/RTK Query, GraphQL.
- Integration with REST/GraphQL APIs and ICAM/login.gov.
- Experience in FedRAMP-compliant CI/CD environments.
- AI-enhanced interface experience or working with data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Ability to pass federal background check and maintain clearance.
