About the Role

Amazon’s Global Executive Development (GED) team is seeking a Senior Executive Coach to partner with senior leaders, including Directors and Vice Presidents, across the organization. This role focuses on coaching leaders to strengthen their leadership approach, provide actionable development support, and reinforce learning through a global leadership development program.

You will also conduct strategic, long-term executive coaching engagements to help senior leaders address developmental areas and build strengths critical for their current and future roles. While an individual contributor role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders and global development professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret leadership and organizational capability requirements, translating them into effective coaching solutions.
  • Provide executive-level coaching, including one-on-one and team/group coaching sessions.
  • Facilitate program breakout sessions, peer-to-peer dialogue, and leadership simulations.
  • Debrief leadership assessments to develop individual learning objectives.
  • Deliver concrete and actionable feedback based on behavioral observations and assessments.
  • Embed acquired learning into participants’ roles and organizational contexts.
  • Support programmatic and strategic improvements, synthesizing critical insights for senior leaders.

No two days are alike! You will engage with senior leaders, deliver global programs, provide coaching, and contribute to shaping Amazon’s future-facing leadership capabilities. This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment where curiosity, learning, and results are highly valued.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive-level coaching, including PCC certification (ICF) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of direct senior leadership experience in complex business environments.
  • Strong facilitation skills for in-person and virtual delivery.
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally (~30%).
  • Expertise in 360° and other psychometric assessments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with business, financial, and process improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCC-level coaching certification (ICF or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of executive coaching experience for senior leaders.
  • Experience with team/group coaching at the executive level.
  • Expertise in leadership simulations and experiential training methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and behavior adoption models.
  • Deep knowledge of leadership capabilities in large, fast-growing, innovative organizations.
  • Experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $134,800 – $222,800 USD annually (depending on geographic location, experience, and skills).
  • Total compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and performance bonuses.
