Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design of complex electrical power and building systems for mission-critical facilities. This includes generator plants, medium-voltage distribution, UPS systems, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding infrastructure.
This role combines technical leadership, design execution, and client interaction, making it ideal for experienced engineers looking to grow into senior technical or project leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial and mission-critical buildings.
- Lead electrical design for complex projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Develop drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and equipment layouts.
- Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend client meetings and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Support projects through both design and construction phases.
- Evaluate existing site conditions and provide engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- 5+ years experience in electrical system design (commercial, industrial, or data center).
- Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, or CYME.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and energy standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with arc flash and power system analysis.
- Mission-critical or data center infrastructure experience.
- Medium and low-voltage infrastructure design expertise.
- International project exposure.

- Salary Range: $103,300 – $151,000 per year.
