Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Director of OEM Partnerships to lead and expand our global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partnership ecosystem. This executive-level role will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing high-impact relationships with OEMs that drive product integration, joint go-to-market strategies, and revenue growth across strategic markets.
This is a critical leadership role that blends commercial strategy, product alignment, and C-level relationship management to deliver long-term value for both the company and its OEM partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall OEM partnership strategy aligned with business objectives, revenue targets, and product roadmaps
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with global and regional OEMs in relevant industries (e.g., automotive, IT hardware, industrial, telecom, healthcare, etc.)
- Lead complex, multi-year commercial and technical negotiations to finalize partnership agreements (licensing, bundling, co-selling, white-labeling)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, legal, and marketing to ensure smooth partner onboarding, integration, and market success
- Build strong executive-level relationships within OEM accounts to influence roadmaps and unlock long-term collaboration opportunities
- Develop and manage a high-performing OEM partnerships team (including regional alliance managers, solution engineers, and partnership operations)
- Monitor KPIs and provide executive reporting on partnership performance, revenue impact, and market expansion outcomes
- Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and partner summits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in OEM or B2B strategic partnerships, business development, or alliances – preferably in enterprise SaaS, cloud, devices, or hardware ecosystem
- Proven success closing multimillion-dollar OEM deals and managing complex global partner relationships
- Deep understanding of OEM business models, including product co-development, licensing, and GTM integration
- Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, deal structuring experience, and legal contract negotiation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Global experience and cultural fluency are highly desirable
Preferred Experience (by sector):
- For tech/IT firms: Experience working with OEMs such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, or embedded/IoT partners
- For automotive: Experience with Tier 1 suppliers, EV platforms, or connected vehicle ecosystems
- For healthcare/biotech: OEM experience with diagnostics equipment, medical devices, or lab automation
- Prior startup or high-growth experience is a plus
