Boeing is hiring a Senior Digital Engineer – Full Stack & Systems Architecture to help transform how aerospace test data is used.

The role focuses on building digital engineering systems that convert large volumes of test data into usable engineering insights.

Instead of just backend or data engineering, this role combines:

The goal is to help engineers analyze test results faster and improve aerospace systems development.

1️⃣ Digital Product Development

  • Build full-stack applications used by aerospace engineers
  • Improve test & evaluation workflows
  • Develop APIs that connect test systems and analytics tools

2️⃣ Systems Architecture

  • Design end-to-end engineering systems
  • Build scalable architectures using multi-cloud environments
  • Choose cloud services based on performance and cost

3️⃣ Data Engineering for Engineers

  • Create data models and storage systems
  • Build platforms where engineers can discover and reuse test data
  • Support analytics and machine learning workflows

4️⃣ DevOps & Reliability

  • Build CI/CD pipelines for safe deployments
  • Implement monitoring using:
    • logs
    • metrics
    • traces
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles

5️⃣ Technical Leadership

  • Work with engineers across programs
  • Influence architecture decisions
  • Help define Boeing’s Digital Engineering strategy

🎓 Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Computer Science
    • Engineering
    • Data Science
    • Mathematics
    • Physics
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Experience building cloud applications
  • Programming skills in:
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • Python
    • C#
    • Go
  • Experience with:
    • Git
    • Linux
    • Docker
    • CI/CD
  • Knowledge of relational databases

Extra advantage if candidates have:

💰 Salary Range

Estimated base pay:

$127,500 – $197,800 per year
