Role Overview
This role combines data science leadership, analytics product ownership, and client consulting for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) clients. You’ll drive innovation in analytics (pricing, promotions, forecasting, optimization), guide internal teams, and work directly with clients to deliver business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytics innovation roadmap (AI/ML, automation, modeling platforms).
- Provide expert guidance on client projects and recommendations.
- Develop forecasting, pricing, and optimization models.
- Collaborate with consulting teams and Periscope product teams.
- Coach stakeholders on analytics best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years in consulting, analytics, or retail/CPG data science.
- Strong experience with econometrics, ML (XGBoost, decision trees), optimization.
- Proficiency with Python/R and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
