Job Description

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and impact-driven Senior Data Engineer to join our analytics engineering team. In this role, you’ll design and build scalable, secure, and reliable data infrastructure that powers analytics, experimentation, and data-informed decision-making across the organization.

You will work cross-functionally with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to ensure clean, trustworthy, and timely data is available to drive strategic insights and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing using modern data stack tools
  • Build and optimize ELT workflows to transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets
  • Partner with analytics and business intelligence teams to define data models, metrics, and documentation
  • Monitor and improve data quality, performance, and reliability across data warehouses and pipelines
  • Contribute to infrastructure decisions, schema design, and governance policies
  • Automate data lineage, versioning, and deployment using tools like dbt, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentor junior data engineers and champion best practices in data architecture and engineering

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics infrastructure roles
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as dbt, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, or Fivetran
  • Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
  • Experience in supporting BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and data governance practices
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and pipeline orchestration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in high-scale or fast-growth environments (e.g., SaaS, fintech, e-commerce)
  • Familiarity with reverse ETL, experimentation platforms, or customer data platforms
  • Exposure to MLOps tools and pipelines (e.g., MLflow, Feature Store) is a plus
  • Passion for building efficient, self-service, analytics-ready data ecosystems
