This means the data center environment is more advanced than traditional enterprise IT — heavy GPU clusters, high-density racks, and specialized cooling/power setups.

  • Location: Quincy, Washington (USA)
  • Type: Full-time, onsite

🔧 Key Responsibilities

This is a senior-level hands-on technician + technical lead role.

You would:

Infrastructure & Hardware

  • Rack, cable, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and network gear
  • Monitor hardware health proactively
  • Troubleshoot compute/network issues
  • Support hardware lifecycle (install → diagnostics → replace → decommission)

Leadership

  • Guide junior technicians
  • Lead projects and deployments
  • Create standards for installation and labeling
  • Act as escalation point

Operations

  • Work with:
    • Network engineers
    • SRE teams
    • Remote hands teams
    • RMA / logistics teams

🧠 Technical Skills Required

Strong emphasis on:

  • Data center infrastructure knowledge:
    • Power distribution
    • Cooling / airflow
    • Environmental monitoring
    • Capacity planning
    • DCIM tools
  • Linux administration
  • Networking setup:
