Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Center Network Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize complex data center network environments that support critical healthcare services. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong troubleshooting skills, leadership capabilities, and deep technical expertise in enterprise networking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, high-availability data center network architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor network performance, proactively identify issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain network security posture and implement safeguards against cyber threats.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of network systems.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and technology integration.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical operations when required.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to support organizational growth and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise or data center networks.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and network security principles.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
