About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Consultant in Analytics with a dual focus on Data Science and Data Engineering. In this hybrid role, you will lead client-facing data initiatives from end to end — from developing robust pipelines and infrastructure to delivering advanced machine learning models and analytical solutions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on high-impact business problems across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Science Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced statistical models, predictive algorithms, and machine learning solutions to address client needs
- Translate business questions into analytical hypotheses and models
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and validation using Python, R, or equivalent tools
- Communicate insights, results, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Data Engineering Responsibilities:
- Architect and build scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using tools like dbt, Airflow, or equivalent
- Develop and manage data lakes and warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and integrity across multiple systems and environments
- Support data ingestion from APIs, third-party platforms, and real-time data streams
Client-Facing & Strategic Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on analytics strategy, tooling, and implementation
- Lead client workshops, deliverables, and technical presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (product, marketing, finance, operations)
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Engineering, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in a combined data science/data engineering role
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a modern data stack (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.)
- Strong experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with consulting or client-facing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)
- Exposure to industry-specific analytics (finance, retail, healthcare, or manufacturing)
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and collaborative coding (e.g., Git, Docker)
- Certifications in cloud/data technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics)
