A global pharmaceutical leader, Pfizer, is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Data Scientist to join its healthcare analytics team. Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret complex clinical datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

Apply advanced data science techniques and tools to extract meaningful information from large healthcare datasets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and research needs and develop data-driven solutions

Provide subject matter expertise on data science methodologies and best practices

Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and analytical workflows to ensure data quality and accessibility

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in clinical data science and analytics

Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve data analysis processes and operational efficiency

Partner with clinical research teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance

Mentor junior data scientists and support capability development within the team

Collaborate with external partners and vendors for analytics and reporting support

Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards

Support strategic planning and decision-making using data-driven insights

Conduct quality control checks and perform ad-hoc analyses as required

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field

Strong experience working with clinical or healthcare data in pharmaceutical, biotech, or research environments

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics

Knowledge of clinical trial data structures, healthcare regulations, and data governance standards

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams
