Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex clinical and healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Apply advanced statistical and data science techniques to extract meaningful information from large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and clinical needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and analytical tools to ensure efficient data management.
- Provide expertise on data science methodologies and best practices across projects.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with clinical research teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct quality control checks and validation processes for datasets and analytical outputs.
- Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving data analysis processes and capabilities.
- Mentor and train junior data scientists and analysts.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors for data analysis and reporting support.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting as required to support business decisions.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong experience analyzing clinical or healthcare data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP, FDA guidelines).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with clinical trial data standards (e.g., CDISC).
- Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
