Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Azure cloud environments to build and maintain scalable, secure server-side applications. This role requires hands-on backend development experience, strong cloud deployment knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly motivated, and comfortable working on complex systems in a fast-changing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience, including work on complex projects involving multiple cross-functional teams.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing server-side APIs using Node.js on Linux environments.
  • Strong experience deploying, managing, and operating Node.js applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native deployment infrastructure (CI/CD, scaling, monitoring, etc.).
  • Experience with relational and/or document-based databases.
  • Knowledge of security and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side APIs using Node.js.
  • Deploy and manage backend services in Azure cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend and deployment-related issues.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
