Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer – Automation & Java/Spring to play a strategic role in maintaining and enhancing enterprise automation frameworks within a Java and Spring environment. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong quality engineering fundamentals, and the ability to influence standards, processes, and outcomes across teams.

The role has a broad impact on technology quality, compliance, and risk management, directly contributing to system reliability, regulatory adherence, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Quality Engineering

  • Maintain and enhance automation testing frameworks in Java and Spring-based applications.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to improve automation coverage and effectiveness.
  • Ensure testing processes align with industry quality standards and trends.
  • Verify traceability across project work products and test artifacts.

Standards, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure project standards and procedures are clearly documented and followed throughout the SDLC.
  • Monitor products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures.
  • Identify risks and ensure corrective actions are assigned, tracked, and completed.
  • Conduct audits, document findings, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Support annual organizational reviews of standards and procedures.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Communicate technology and process changes across multiple management levels.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to define new standards and procedures.
  • Act as an advisor and mentor to junior team members.
  • Gather, maintain, and report quality metrics.

Governance & Ethics

  • Assess risk when making business decisions with consideration for firm reputation, regulatory compliance, and asset protection.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, laws, and regulations while escalating and managing control issues transparently.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of professional experience in Java and Spring development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java and Spring Framework (mandatory).
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL (mandatory).
  • Solid knowledge of branching strategies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes and automation frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
