About the Role:
As the Senior Architect – Salesforce CPQ, you will be responsible for leading and managing the architecture and implementation of Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to deliver scalable and high-performing Salesforce CPQ solutions that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce CPQ implementations for various clients.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop customizations and configurations within Salesforce CPQ, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and consultants.
  • Work closely with the integration team to ensure seamless integration of CPQ with other Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and third-party systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CPQ implementations, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce CPQ product updates and new features, and incorporate them into ongoing projects.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope, timeline, and deliverable management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce CPQ, including implementation and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and integration methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of business processes and how they relate to Salesforce CPQ configurations.
  • Salesforce CPQ certification (or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce Billing and related financial systems.
  • Knowledge of pricing, quoting, and discounting strategies in a CPQ environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with the Salesforce DevOps process and tools (e.g., Salesforce DX).
