Role Overview

As a Senior SAP EWM Functional Lead, you will maintain and develop Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functionality for Leo production systems. You will define warehouse management strategies, optimize processes, and ensure smooth operations across multi-plant and multi-warehouse manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and business leadership to deliver SAP solutions that drive efficiency, enhance inventory management, and support full-rate production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise EWM strategies, design solutions, and implement practical business processes.
  • Analyze new business requirements and implement changes to existing EWM functionalities.
  • Lead and drive EWM-related projects, enhancements, and Radio Frequency functionality improvements.
  • Provide end-user support for inventory management, goods receipt/issue processes, put-away and picking strategies, kitting, and warehouse structure creation.
  • Maintain KPI and SLA compliance, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Serve as a liaison between Leo business units to develop technology-driven warehouse solutions.
  • Author functional specifications, provide design/testing support, and maintain SAP solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience.
  • Minimum 1 full end-to-end SAP EWM implementation experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, physical inventory, slotting/rearrangement, warehouse structure, and dock processes.
  • Experience with goods receipt/issue, stock transfers, put-away, picking, kitting, and mobile data entry.
  • Understanding of interdependencies with other EWM modules and handling units/batch management.
  • Ability to author functional specifications and provide end-user support.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of SAP EWM/WM experience in manufacturing or warehouse projects.
  • Master’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM, PP, QM modules.
  • Experience in Aerospace/Defense industries and ITAR environments.
  • ABAP/QuickViewer experience to create queries and reports.
  • Proven ability to build and drive adoption of new tools.
