Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of sales and marketing, providing an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic media and entertainment environment.

Duties

– Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaigns
– Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior
– Support the sales and marketing team in daily administrative tasks such as assisting in sourcing new advertising partnership
– Create content for social media platforms and email marketing campaigns
– Assist in managing website content
– Collaborate with team members on various projects including product management and advertising
– Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and provide insights
– Learn about SEO strategies and assist in optimizing website content

Qualifications

– Basic understanding of sales and marketing initiatives
– Familiarity with email marketing platforms
– Knowledge or interest in product management and advertising strategies
– Experience or eagerness to learn about WordPress for website management
– Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions for marketing efforts
– Interest in market trends and consumer behavior to drive effective campaigns

– Good writing skills e.g. monthly newsletter, project proposals

This is a three month internship that may be extended if both parties agree. The role will start on September 23rd or earlier if the preferred candidate is found. All final recruitment decisions are final and at the discretion of the magazine. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in print and digital media that focuses on travel, entertainment, and classic Americana. This is a very hands on, proactive position that requires self management at times and a good deal of ownership. The right person is smart, creative, determined, social, and a natural multitasker and problem solver.

Pay: $150.00 per month
