Job Description

Company: VELOCITY

Location: India (Kochi or Bangalore preferred)

Type: Contract to Hire

Role: Individual React Developer (No agencies)

About the Project

I am the founder of a production-ready SaaS platform in the real estate/lifestyle space. The backend is built on Laravel and is stable/live. I am now seeking a dedicated React expert to take over frontend development and drive development velocity.

This is a data-heavy SaaS platform requiring high-quality dashboards and dynamic user interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex dashboards for Admin, Manager, and Partner portals.
  • Develop dynamic UI elements: advanced filtering, multi-step workflows, responsive tables, charts, and analytics components.
  • Integrate with Laravel REST APIs for seamless data flow.
  • Architect scalable frontend state using Zustand, React Query, or other state management strategies.
  • Collaborate on performance optimizations and responsive layouts.
  • Maintain clean, production-ready code with proper Git/GitHub workflow.

Technical Requirements

  • React: Deep expertise in Hooks, Context API, Functional Components.
  • Tailwind CSS: For fast, consistent, and responsive UI development.
  • State Management: Experience with Zustand, React Query, Redux, or similar.
  • Git/GitHub: Strong habits in branching, commits, and version control.
  • API Integration: Proven experience consuming REST APIs in SPA applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in India (Kochi or Bangalore preferred for occasional in-person alignment).
  • Experience in PropTech or data-heavy SaaS dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, performance, and UX best practices.

Application Requirements

Please include in your proposal:

  1. Relevant React projects or portfolio (SaaS dashboards preferred).
  2. Your approach to authentication and protected routes in a React/Laravel SPA.
  3. Availability and estimated timeline for onboarding and initial feature delivery.
  4. Confirmation that you are an individual developer, not an agency.
