Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is looking for a talented and self-motivated Remote Web Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and development teams to build functional and visually appealing web features.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring performance optimization and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Ensure websites meet security, accessibility, and performance standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong experience with back-end development using technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, or similar.
  • Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web service integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web development or a related field.
  • Experience working with remote teams or distributed environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver complex web development projects.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible working hours.
  • 100% remote work from anywhere in Canada.
  • Some overlap with standard business hours may be required for collaboration and meetings.
