Job Title: Senior Web Accessibility Tester

Location: Remote – Hartford, CT

Duration: 12 Months

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accessibility Tester with extensive experience in manual and automated accessibility testing, assistive technologies, document accessibility, and automation integration. This is a remote full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale clients and impactful projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years in software/web testing, with 3+ years in dedicated accessibility testing.

Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA Title II/III, and PDF/UA standards.

Advanced proficiency in NVDA screen reader testing.

Strong experience with manual accessibility tools: ANDI, Sitebulb, browser dev tools.

Proficiency with automated scanners: axe DevTools, Evinced, ARC Toolkit, Pa11y, Siteimprove.

Expertise in PDF accessibility testing and remediation validation.

Experience building and running automated accessibility scripts (axe-core, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).

Knowledge of HTML, ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript from an accessibility perspective.

Strong defect documentation and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
