About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer at GraphAware, you will join the engineering team behind Hume, our flagship graph analytics product used by major organizations across industries.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced user interfaces, including graph visualizations, orchestration editors, and complex interactive workflows. This role requires strong UX thinking, architectural awareness, and close collaboration with both frontend and backend teams — including shaping the REST APIs your frontend communicates with.

This is a hands-on senior position with ownership, mentoring responsibilities, and architectural influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead frontend development of Hume’s user interface
  • Design interaction flows and mockups from user stories
  • Coordinate and drive new feature design
  • Contribute to REST API design with backend engineers
  • Own features end-to-end from implementation to production
  • Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions
  • Anticipate and mitigate technical risks at the component level
  • Ensure high code quality and continuously improve the codebase
  • Demonstrate new features and gather stakeholder feedback
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Understand system architecture and production impact of changes

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced experience with TypeScript
  • Strong expertise in Vue.js (React experience acceptable; Vue preferred)
  • Experience building complex Single-Page Applications (SPAs)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience with state management (Vuex / Redux)
  • Experience working on projects involving both frontend and backend teams
  • Familiarity with graph visualization libraries (e.g., D3, Cytoscape, Sigma.js, etc.)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Git proficiency
  • CI/CD workflow familiarity
  • Docker experience
  • Understanding of TLS and web application security fundamentals
  • Knowledge of clean code, refactoring, TDD/BDD, and end-to-end testing
  • Passion for high-quality UX design

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience designing and optimizing REST APIs
  • Experience with complex data-driven UI systems
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques
