About the Role:
As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop interactive reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to help drive business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis and visualization tools to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring data visualization is aligned with business requirements.
  • Data Modeling: Build and maintain robust data models, creating relationships between data sets, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data used in reports.
  • Data Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, Excel, cloud services, and other data sources into Power BI.
  • Optimization & Performance Tuning: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, ensuring fast data processing and smooth user experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • User Training: Provide training and support to end-users, enabling them to understand and use the reports and dashboards effectively.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Address any issues related to Power BI reports, dashboards, and data integration, providing timely resolution to ensure business continuity.
  • Documentation: Document all processes, reports, and solutions for future reference and scalability.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Power BI features and best practices, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are innovative and optimized.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Power BI development, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Strong experience with Power BI tools, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to query and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing interactive dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power BI best practices for report performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
