About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Remote Online Tutor to join our growing e-learning team. You will deliver high-impact tutoring sessions, help students achieve measurable learning outcomes, and collaborate with curriculum developers and tech support specialists. This role directly influences student success, retention, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 5–8 one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions daily via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Align lessons to curriculum standards in Canvas and Google Classroom.
  • Create and grade assessments using Kahoot! and Google Forms; provide progress reports within 24 hours.
  • Develop individualized study plans leveraging LMS data and supplemental tools like Miro and Notion.
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries and tech issues; maintain high engagement standards.
  • Participate in weekly and bi-weekly team meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and QA sessions.
  • Lead monthly virtual “Study Clubs” for peer-to-peer learning.
  • Analyze student outcome data and present findings to the Director of Academic Services.
  • Ensure compliance with education regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field OR equivalent teaching experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience as an online tutor, virtual teacher, or e-learning instructor in K–12.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Kahoot!, Miro, Slack, Asana (use at least 2 daily).
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • High-speed internet (min. 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) and a dedicated workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills managing at least 20 concurrent student schedules.
  • Experience interpreting LMS data and adapting instruction based on metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or teaching certifications (TESOL, NPAT, GACE).
  • Familiarity with Keene, NH schools and testing schedules.
  • Experience with adaptive learning platforms (DreamBox, Khan Academy).
  • Mentoring or leading professional development for junior tutors.
  • Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design certifications.
  • Familiarity with AI tutoring tools (ChatGPT, Socratic, Brainly).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $48,000 – $68,000 annually
