Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently.
  • Optimize website performance, including page speed and SEO best practices.
  • Implement third-party plugins, APIs, and custom features as required.
  • Collaborate remotely with designers, content creators, and project managers to meet deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Document development processes, code changes, and project updates clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer with a portfolio showcasing WordPress, HTML, and CSS projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress theme development and customization.
  • Experience with PHP and MySQL for backend WordPress development.
  • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional freelance or in-house web development experience.
  • Experience managing remote client projects is a plus.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of industries and client requirements is preferred.
